#32 Pick of the CMC Mock Draft..

....is sponsored by Sports Mascots of Yesteryear Bowl featuring Thrash, the slightly scary looking mascot from the Atlanta Thrashers with a special appearance from Youppi of Montreal Expos fame.

The Super Bowl XLIX Champion New England Patriots select:

Marcus Peters, CB, Washington

Top 15 talent with some off-field problems and whaddya know, Bill Belichick gets a blue-chip talent fall in his lap at the end of the first round. Don't know how these guys do it.

#31 Pick of the 2015 CMC Mock Draft...

...sponsored by the 2018 Rearview Mirror Dice Bowl to be played in Ted Stimson Stadium localizado en SW Nicaragua.

Still stuck on first base with your Tinder date?  Buy a pair of furry dice and advance to home plate.

The New Orleans Saints select...

Denzel Perryman, ILB, Univ of Miami

Do we really need to explain this pick?  The New Orleans defense was next to last in the league in total yards allowed.  With Gregory and Perryman nabbed in Round 1, the N'awlins defense receives an infusion of youthful power and athleticism.

#30 Pick in CMC Mock Draft....

Is sponsored by the ThunderCats / Gumby Arena Show Bowl coming to a sold out arena near you! (yes...this was a real thing)

And with the 30th pick the Green Bay Packers select:

Nelson Agholor, WR, USC
The Packers see Agholor falling for no apparent reason and snag a steal on the BPA.  Agholor has the distinction of living in the same neighborhood as the Ohio Ice family so that earns him additional points.

#29 Pick in CMC Mock Draft....

...is sponsored by the Crystal Pepsi High Fructose Corn Syrup Bowl played in the inner workings of your intestines. Enjoy.

And with the 29th pick the Baltimore Colts select:

Eli Harold, DE/OLB, Virginia

Maybe one of the biggest teases in this draft. Sometimes Harold looks like the next big thing but other times he's invisible. That's probably the reason this Top 10 talent is barely hanging on in the first round. On the bright side Harold does know how to get to the quarterback and not enough guys in Colts uniforms do that.

#28 Pick of the 2015 CMC Mock Draft...

...sponsored by the 2019 ShutterBug Telescopic Lens for iPhone Bowl where Hobart College will host the Southland Conference Champion.

Seriously - what douchebag would purchase this?

The Denver Broncos select...

Cameron Erving, C/OG, Florida State

Coach Kubiak has a guy named Peyton Manning playing QB.  As long as that is happening, the HOF'er has got to stay upright - therfore, OL depth is at a premium.  Erving is drafted to be an immediate starter at Center and key chess piece for the preservation of Manning.  Give the guy time and he can make guys look great (see Julius Thomas).

#27 Pick of the CMC Mock Draft...

..is sponsored by Clay Aiken for Congress Bowl in Raleigh, NC. with a special half time show featuring Ruben Studdard!

With the 27th selection the Dallas Cowboys pick:

Kevin Johnson, CB, Wake Forest

The Cowboys maligned secondary needs an upgrade and they snag the top CB on the board.

#26 Pick of the CMC Mock Draft...

...is sponsored by the Turbo Grafx 16 Losers Video Game Systems Bowl that will be played on the one server that still supports Sega Dreamcast online games in your mom's basement.

With the 26th selection the Baltimore Ravens pick:

Eddie Goldman, DT, Florida State

The big uglies are coming off the board with the quickness as we move down the draft. In actuality the Ravens are probably in a prime spot to gain picks from a team that wants to trade into the first round, but if they hold tight they will add another young piece to the defense and someone that could help offset some of the lost of Haloti Ngata.

#25 Pick of the 2015 CMC Mock Draft...

...is sponsored by the 2020 Linsay "Cosmos" Tablet Bowl.  This huge game pits the NWAC winner against the BZAC winner.  No one knows yet what these acronyms mean.

Purchase the Cosmos from K-Mart today and enter sweepstakes to win a free download of L Ron Hubbard's "Dianetics"!

The Carolina Panthers select:

Melvin Gordon, RB, Wisconsin

It seems like the dual threat of DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart has been in the Carolina backfield since Steve Beuerlein was throwing lame passes.  It's onto a new era.  Carolina cannot depend on the skill-set of Cam Newton alone, time to get a young blazer in the backfield to take the pressure off.

#24 Pick of the 2015 CMC Mock Draft...

The 24th Pick in the 2015 CMC Mock Draft is brought to you by the L. Ron Hubbard Dianetics Bowl.  Hosted in sunny Clearwater, FL.  Free personality tests for all!

The Arizona Cardinal select...

Ereck Flowers, OT, Miami, FL

The U is on the board with a road grading Tackle.  Arizona has a number of holes to fill but Flowers seemed like the BPA at this point on the Ohio Ice Big Board (sponsored by Hardees / Carls Jr.)

#23 Pick of the 2015 CMC Mock Draft...

...is sponsored by the 2017 Sriracha Chip Ice Cream Bowl.

Because using Sriracha sauce on anything works - who cares about the Sodium Biphosphate?

The Detroit Lions select...

Malcolm Brown, DT, Texas

Although Detroit signed Haloti Ngata, it doesn't mean you look for the next Suh (minus all the bull$hit).  Brown will make the Lions feel a little better now.

#22 Pick in CMC Mock Draft....

...is sponsored by the BluBlockers Corey Hart Sunglasses at Night Bowl played on the interstates across middle America.

And with the 22nd pick the Pittsburgh Steelers select:

Landon Collins, S, Alabama

With the retirement of Troy Polamalu and Ike Taylor the Steelers have some serious holes in the secondary. Trae Wayans was their guy but he's off the board so they go with the best safety in the draft and will continue to address the defense in the upcoming rounds.

#21 Pick of the 2015 CMC Mock Draft...

..is sponsored by the Long John Silver's Lobster Bites "Take a Bite Out of Cholestorol" Bowl played in the Mobile Alabama the deep fried south.

My beloved Cincinnati Bengals select:

Arik Armstead, DT, Oregon

6'7" 292 lbs. are Mario Williams like measurables.  He's fast and raw.  Somehow the Bengals front 7 went from dominant to dormant in 2014.  If you are going to have a red headed QB you better have a nasty defense that forces alot of turnovers.  Armstead is a bit of a DE/DT tweener but can help disrupt up front.

#20 Pick of the 2015 CMC Mock Draft...

...sponsored by the 2019 VitaCraves One-A-Day Complete Multivitamin Multimineral Energy Bowl.

The message is clear:  Pop a few of these "naturally" flavored, non-GMO, gummies in your gullet daily and you'll never get sick.  Available at all candy/cookie/cracker aisles and cash register stands nationwide.

The Philadelphia Eagles select...

Trae Waynes, CB, Michigan St

Something tells me Coach Kelly will be wheeling and dealing for Mariota here.  What's on his side for negotiating a large trade-up here is the Eagles are Superbowl-less.  If you want your guy - you gotta take the risks necessary.  Yet, dealing from #20 is a high price to pay.  Getting the top rated CB in Trae Waynes makes the 2014 positional weakness into a 2015 positional strength.

#19 Pick in CMC Mock Draft....

...is sponsored by the Rave 4x Mega Hairspray Sacrifice the Environment for Perfect Bangs Bowl played in the ever-expanding hole of the Arctic circle.

The Cleveland Browns select:

Todd Gurley, RB, Georgia

Gurley is being rumored to go anywhere from No. 6 to the Jets to out of the draft completely. So this seems like the right spot for the right value and a team that could absolutely use some identity in their backfield. Gurley will have to answer questions about his health but if he's good to go he's a special player.

#18 Pick of the 2015 CMC Mock Draft...

...is sponsored by the 2016 Gerardo Rico Suave Comeback Tour Bowl - PAC 10 vs Atlantic Sun invitees only.  Location to be announced during Gerardo's first stop at La Naranja nightclub in Crystal Lake.

The Kansas City Chiefs select...

Dorial Green-Beckham, WR, Missouri

Is he a risk?  Yes.  Remember when Andy Reid took a risk on TO?  That risk got him to the big dance at least.  Losing Dwayne Bowe and gaining Maclin doesn't cancel things out.  So the risk here is to forego a seemingly solid pick in Ereck Flowers and go for broke on a boom or bust talent.

#17 Pick CMC Mock Draft

The 17th pick of the CMC Mock Draft is sponsored by the Tyler Perry's Next Movie Bowl hosted in Hollywood California.

With the pick the San Diego Chargers Select:

Andrus Peat, OT, Stanford
Gotta keep old man Rivers upright and what better way to do it then a bookend Tackle from Stanford.  Peat is another in a long line of good ones out of Palo Alto.

#16 Pick CMC Mock Draft

The 16th pick of the CMC Mock Draft is sponsored by the Social Network Sites of the Early 21st Century Bowl presented by Friendster.

With the pick the Houston Texans select:

Eric Kendricks, LB, UCLA

Value pick here as the Texans might try to move up to get Gregory or one of the top wide receivers. At 16 Kendricks is the top-rated inside linebacker and a perfectly acceptable choice from a football standpoint.

#15 Pick in the 2015 CMC Mock Draft...

...is sponsored by the 2018 Halo Megabloks Bowl to be held at LegoLand Theme Park in Vinter Hovven, FL (city name courtesy of Ohio Ice).  Megablocks struck a deal to receive 2% of all concession revenue's, the rest going to Lego.

The San Francisco 49ers select:

Breshad Perriman, WR, UCF

Where was this guy in February/March?  Now he is front and center for teams looking for a big receiver such as the production Carolina received from Kelvin Benjamin. Defensive minded new HC Jim Tomsula can recognize the need for WR.  Pairing Perriman with FA Torrey Smith and Anquan Boldin is not so bad after all.

14th Pick of the 2015 CMC Mock Draft...

The 14th Pick in the 2015 CMC Mock Draft is sponsored by the AshleyMadison.com Family Values Bowl streaming discretely online at a location to be agreed upon by both teams.

The Miami Dolphins select:

La'el Collins, OT, LSU

Who doesn't love a big SEC tackle?  The Dolphins are stacked on the Defensive side of the ball and its time to start building for the future on offense.  Collins is the to dog on the board and the dolphins scoop him up.

#13 Pick of CMC Draft

The 13th selection in the CMC Mock Draft is sponsored by the NetJets "Live in the Moment" Bowl played on the grounds of your summer home in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Live lavish today and worry about those bills tomorrow.

The New Orleans Saints select:

Randy Gregory, OLB/DE, Nebraska

Best player at a position of need. Would have easily been a top 10 and maybe a top 5 pick if he wasn't busted for weed. As it is he drops enough for the Saints to quickly pounce on him.

#12 Pick of the 2015 CMC Mock Draft...

...sponsored by the Renault Alliance Convertible Bowl, held in Le'Cullily, France.  This is the first ever collegiate bowl on foreign soil, winning the rights to host Big 10 and SEC conference schools.

The Cleveland Browns select...

Shane Ray, OLB/EDGE, Missouri

Something tells me Ray has a larger chip on his shoulder than most all 2015 draftees.  This could be a golden pick for Cleveland when all is said and done.  Ray's poor showings in pre-draft activities just might be a good thing.

#11 Pick of the CMC Mock Draft

The 11th pick in the CMC draft is sponsored by the Little Debbie "Four Food Groups Bowl" Played in Wisconsin...the heartland of obesity

The Minnesota Vikings Select
Devante Parker, WR, Louisville
Everybody is looking for that big body prototype receiver.  At 6'3" and 210 lbs. Parker gives the Vikings their next Sidney Rice experiment.  Hopefully this works out better.

#10 Pick of the CMC Mock Draft

The 10th pick in the CMC draft is sponsored by the 1-800-ASK-GARY Amphitheater Half-Ass Legal Representation Bowl presented by Culpepper & Kurland.

The St. Louis Rams select:

Kevin White, WR, West Virginia

Arguably the most physically gifted receiver in the draft falls to 10? Hell yeah St. Louis would be all over this guy in 15 seconds. You're welcome Nick Foles.

#9 Pick of the CMC Mock Draft...

...sponsored by Methamphetamine Lab Bowl, held at the Phosphate Bowl in Mulberry, FL.

It's about tradition.

The New York Giants select...

Brandon Scherff, OG/OT, Iowa

Jerry Reese has a tough time taking this with White/Ray/Gregory on the board.  Let's be serious though, will the Giants bat a thousand again and draft another Odell Beckham?  Also, does Gregory and Ray hold more value at this juncture?  Answer is No.  You win more games when Eli has time because no time will be bought from his legs.  Also, you draft Andre Williams last year to get production, so Big Blue must deal with this to open up the power running game.

#8 Pick of the CMC Mock Draft.

This summary is not available. Please click here to view the post.

#7 Pick of the CMC Mock Draft...

...is sponsored by the Ramen Noodle Comprehensive Nutrition Bowl held in Al Dudikoff Stadium, Poughkeepsie, NY.

Nutrition is important - eat Ramen.  Bye bye Rickets.

The Chicago Bears Select...

Alvin "Bud" Dupree, DE/EDGE, Kentucky

The Bears sucked last year.  Their offense sucks.  Their defense sucks even more.   So which way do you go?  With Mariota gone to Tennessee, there is no QB worth taking in Round 1.  With Kevin White available, there is no need to take him b/c no one will get him the ball:  It'll be like Ryan Lindley passing to Larry Fitzgerald.  So here's what you do:  Get a guy who can rush the passer and can stop the run at hopefully a high level.   Because right now, the cupboard is empty.
